I hate Valentine's Day

I'm not too crazy about Valentine's Day. Actually I hate this damn occasion with a vengeance. It's an over commercialized guilt trip to try and force people to buy stuff that they have no use for, and if you don't spend a fuckin' billion dollars on flowers and candy and cards then you're accused of being unromantic and uncaring and not loving your significant other.

I don't know what I hate worse about this day. The guilting of people to spend money because of so much emphasis put on this one day, the people who withhold affection for the entire year because they plan to show it only on Valentine's Day, or the fact that so many people feel terrible about not having anyone.
